find·urdu is a static dictionary site: there are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that store your data. Here's the actual, current picture.
You don't need to sign up or log in to use find·urdu, and the site doesn't ask you for your name, email, or any other personal information anywhere except the Contact page, which you'd only fill in if you choose to email us directly.
Like virtually any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information for every visit — things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security and reliability purposes. We don't use this data for tracking or advertising, and we don't currently run any separate analytics service on top of it.
Two outside services are used directly on the page: Google Fonts, to load the site's typefaces, and links out to our YouTube channel for video content. We don't embed video players on our pages — every video link takes you to YouTube itself, in a new destination, rather than loading a YouTube player inside find·urdu. Each of these services is operated by its own company under its own privacy policy, and visiting YouTube or requesting a font file means that company's policies apply to that request, not ours.
find·urdu has space reserved for advertising, but no ad network is connected yet. When one is, this page will be updated to name it and describe what it collects before it goes live — not after.
The site itself doesn't set cookies. If that changes — for analytics, ads, or any other reason — this page will be updated first.
find·urdu is a general dictionary and language-learning reference, usable by readers of any age, including students. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone through the site itself — there's no sign-up form to fill in either way. The one exception is the Contact page: if a child emails us directly, we'd only use that message to reply, and a parent or guardian who'd like a message removed can ask us to delete it via the same page.
Because find·urdu doesn't collect or store personal data beyond what you might choose to send us by email, there isn't much held on you to request, correct, or export. If you've emailed us through the Contact page, you can ask us to delete that message at any time, and we will.
As find·urdu adds features — search history, saved words, an ad network, analytics — this page will be updated to reflect exactly what's live, the same way our About page is kept honest about what's built and what isn't.
